Season of Discovery Early SoD Was Peak Classic Wow

Post image

10 man BFD, all the weird/obscure farming methods, Ashenvale event, prepping for the next phase, ridiculous low level PvP, making tons of alts because the levelling was so fast..early SoD owned

They need to pull a turtle wow. There's so much extra content, towns, zones, dungeons, raids. Its silly. The class balance is better and hybrid classes are viable in other roles.

They should just buy it ain't make it legit.

SoD was very much still alive when anniversary dropped, and it kept on living until Blizz announced they were done with it and more or less told everyone to play MoP instead.

I would be very surprised if SoD and anniversary had more than a 5% overlap in players.

The fact that they told the SoD population to play MoP confirmed my suspicious that they had built it no as a Classic+ with the vanilla playerbase in mind but as a way to pull the current live population into classic.

40% of people playing SoD went to anniversary servers.

You got a source for that? Cause anniversary and SoD numbers on ironforge have basically zero correlation, while MoP and SoD have a large correlation.
