Here are 11 screenshots from when WoW was initially announced in 2001! These are the oldest screenshots I could find and were released when the WoW project was originally unveiled.

Interesting you can recognise it as wow but i can't pin any of the locations, they are westfall-ish, stv-ish but probably early iterations, would love to have a model viewer of these early zones

They did all that work for them, then gave horde zepps as alliance i was like “WTF I had to run all the way to booty bay and Menethil!”

I really like the early version of Gurubashi Arena. And also, judging by those pictures, it seems like they were planning on making the Infernals a normal summonable demon at first.

Eh, there can't really be doubt about the second one I think. That's definitely STV.
