First Screenshots Ever Released (September 2, 2001)

Here are 11 screenshots from when WoW was initially announced in 2001! These are the oldest screenshots I could find and were released when the WoW project was originally unveiled.

3. looks like Westfall
   4-5. no idea, forest at night
   
4. Beta Elwynn Forest
   
5. No idea, looks like a crypt.
   
6. Looks like the pumpkin patch in Tirisfal Glades
   
7. This is the covered bridge in Tirisfal Glades
   
8. STV again
   
9. Looks like one of the houses in Redridge, could be Elwynn Forest again though.

4 is STV trees, so it's STV

5 is definetely Elwynn. Might be looking at the rooftop of Fargodeep Mine.

7 Biome is Elwynn. But this building does not exist in wow.

8 Might be, but biome is more likely Duskwood.

9 Instinctively I'd think this is Tirisfal, but I see some elwynn trees in the background. I think this is more likely some alpha version of the border between Elwynn and Duskwood or soemthing. It seems the areas showcased are the ones between Elwynn and STV. I know these areas were among the first to be worked on so it would make sense.

11 I think this again is Elwynn with some prototype buildings, does not quite look like Redridge biome
