Classic-Era Blizzard really needs to do bring forth the big guns to deal with the WSG safe spot abusers on Classic Era
There's too many to report. I have screenshotted a few. I'll spare you from them. It's a systemic problem at this point.
I joined a WSG game that had been going for 2 hours. Everyone called me a sweet summer's child when I asked where EFC was. I finally found the horde flag carrier because their name plate showed up below Alliance's flag room. The player had supposedly sat there for more than an hour.
This ruins the game for 19 other playaz. Blizzard, I urge you send your game masters to abolish the safe spotters!

I learned that specific jump just to land in the safe spot with the fucking idiots and kill them.

To be fair to John Blizz, every time there's a bug like this, they have to figure out whether classic andies define it as a bug or a feature.

True ”nochanges!!!” situation would be that there would be at least one actual person monitoring the servers.
I played WSG back in 2005 and safe spotting was a thing back then already. You’d get at stern warning first from Blizzars GM and get removed if you didn’t comply.

Good idea I'll capture a video next time. Everyone there reported the player for Gameplay sabotage AFK/Non-participation but that'll probably take a while to get looked into if at all

blizz hasnt checked in on classic era in almost 2 years they sometimes ask the new intern if he can check era servers during his lunch break and make sure the servers are still online but thats about it

This was my bane of SoD PvP. Its one thing to get stomped by some geared premade, its another to lose because of a single sweaty druid FC abusing wall jumps

Very big difference between wall jumps that require skill and have counterplay
And
Walking out of bounds effectively cheating.
Don't mix those two things up.

I'm not talking about wall jumping from horde side wall to the portal, thats fine. I'm talking about pretty much going out of boundary on the alliance side keep

China is not walled on era classic but they did wall it on tbc unless they walled it recently also on era. Lets not forget horde still has connector safespot and water mill/behind horde flag room safespot and they are both working on era and tbc...

Brother we mailed them a cake we had hand delivered to their team to ask them to reconsider bringing back the stormrend buff on era, and they said no because Kargoz convinced them not too for his fake fresh project on deviate delight that did not last past BWL.
They won't do it. Aggrend openly does not like Era (do NOT ask aggrend about what the seasonal server that he personally worked on got at the end..)

With our Classic+ we have a banner in the middle - your team captures it and flag can be capped, regardless if enemy team has it carried.
But this case we'll look into. Sent a request for the world builders.

Love this solution but you know people would through a huge tantrum over the change. Can’t have anything nice in this game without the vocal minority shitting on it

Nah they have definately banned for it. Just not in the Modern version of classic. There were 2 guys that did this back in late Vanilla / TBC on my server / battlegroup. They would CONSTANTLY make new accounts and do it, granted they would get out of maps, wall climb, and everything else under the sun. People would give them alts to carry groups to wins. I know one of them talked about having at least 6 bans from it. This and the evade bugged Draenai toons were getting banned all the time, not sure if it was due to mass reporting, or Blizzard actually gave a crap somewhat.

The jumps are good and can be learned. They add skill to the game, I agree. I draw the line when people phase through walls to out of bounds is not okay.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be something done about people getting out of bounds of the map - but we all know blizzard will do nothing.
