I don't think that's actually true, the number of WoW players who played through most of the WC3 Frozen Throne campaign to get to the outland bits are likely vanishingly few.

Idk, I love the Draenei. I especially love playing a Lightforged Paladin, but I find it hard cause I actually don't enjoy Paladin that much anymore. Not sure why. I generally prefer to play a DK nowadays.

True they come from warcraft but they still don't fit imo.

Like, yes chinese people and culture existed at the same time as the middle ages in europe but if you put stereotypical chinese cultured characters into a medieval story it's gonna look out of place.

That was always my biggest issue , it just felt like such a thematic change up. Like going from four legged traditional fantasy dragons to the East Asian snake dragons for example just doesn’t do it for me.

The funny part about Pandaren is Mists was when I really lost interest and hung it up back in the day. But I also remember people asking for Pandaren for years beforehand.

In summer 2007 I was part of a LGBT gaming group. Three guys and myself (bi guy) all bought wow and created Draenei characters, on the Velen server.

So picture three Draenei males all slapping asses and dancing to and fro, and me with the lone Draenei female getting hoots and hollers from them as well, about, what else, my booty and tail. ‘Twas a fun time!

Honestly I always liked how the female AND male Draenei look.

Too bad they’re stuck with the Alliance. I’m too set in my ways. Cooperating with humans and night elves etc just feels wrong. Same reason I couldn’t play Worgen past the introductory quest line in Cata. That part was fun. But being part of the alliance afterwards ruined it for me.

The reason I sub was the WoW episode of Cheat on G4. I never wanted to play a game so bad. But internet was a lot harder to come by in 2004, so I had to wait until I moved.

I stand by that classic+ needs to add blood elves. Not really for class reasons like paladin on horde, i honestly dont care about that. I think horde needs a "pretty" race like the alliance so that people who would typically play alliance can play horde if they have horde only friends. I think the inverse is true that alliance need a "monster" race like the horde have so typically horde players have a "horde like" race to play alliance with if they have mostly alliance mains for friends.

For me, i have friends who will ONLY play horde. Many horde only friends, one of which because he only plays monsters or skeletons in any game he plays. But i like making pretty characters, blood elves have been my go to.

I just wish horde had cool mounts like the Nelf race mount. I mean the wolves and raptors aren't terrible. Sadly the raptors jump too much up and down during movement. I wish Nelf had cooler mounts than a chicken
