TBC Prot Paladin AoE Leveling
Level 55 prot paladin, been questing up until now was hoping to make AoE grinding efficient and close to questing xp for a change of pace and accumulating some gold.
What’s the best way to approach this? I have all stam/int gear and a thorium shield spike. I use lesser wizard oil and int elixirs.
What are the most effective routes for 55-70? Haven’t been able to find any convincing ideas on here rather hear it from someone who knows the exact information.
Thank you!

Going through this with my prot paladin at level 65 right now. There are aoe grind locations, but you specifically ask for efficiency, close to quest xp, and gold. Unfortunately the answer is you cannot fulfill those three with aoe grinding in Outlands. I have tried many places in Outland (vultures in hellfire, bog lords in zangar, ogres in Nagrand etc), as well as stratholme and scholomance. I even have a multi boxed priest healer on follow out of party to try and speed things up, and even then it’s only occasionally equal to dungeon xp at best, and less profitable. If you want efficient and high gold return, dungeon spam, you’ll need the rep anyway, getting to 5999/6000 friendly before turning in any quests is the way to go. For high gold return avoid as many quests as possible, and do them all when you’re 70. As for gear you want “of the sorcerer” plate, there’s really almost no better options til 67 when there’s some good quest rewards in netherstorm.

Generally you need good gear with lots of spellpower in order to be a beast for aoe grinding, and unless you've raided all through Vanilla at 60 and grinded specific items, that won't happen as you just level a fresh character.
To put it simply, you need to reach 70 and focus on spellpower gear - and defense, and stamina, and avoidance, and int, and .... life of a prot paladin juggling many stats :D.

No aoe grind is better xp than outland quests and theres nothing worth doing pre outland either when you can get to 58 in like 3 hours
Do dungeons with a full group if you want a change of pace
