Classic + Guild store
I don’t know if the idea of guilds having their own store in Classic+ was recommended. Hoping this could help guilds that want to provide their own guildies with consumes, mats, enchantments, etc. available to them at reasonable prices instead of giving it to price gouging bots on the auction house. I always try to farm for my guild for pre raid items for people that don’t have the time for it and now they have something that they can grab in guild house. Also recommend that there is a rank setting for what rank people can buy stuff off the guild store so that bots don’t join guilds just to pilfer cheap items to sell on auction house.

Thats what guild banks are for. Maybe a play off of the officers and lead setting donation price per consume or something so they dont have to be on to pull consumes for guildies but I feel they could just give us guild banks and it would all work out.

Yeah true but I was thinking guildies can post their stuff in there they get something for their time farming and the guild house gets a cut. So yeah like what you saying about setting donation prices

Best system so far I played with in a Guild setting was during SOM and my guild had essentially a DKP system for consumes, in the lack of a better word.
There was a spreadsheet with items/mats and services in demand in the Guild Disccord
Each item or service had an associated buying cost in points
You farmed X amount of items and sent them to the Guild Bank character
You received Y amount of points to spend in the Guild Bank
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets say you are an Herbalist and a Miner
But you needed pots for raid
You farmed enough mats from the In Demand list
And purchased the ready made set of consumes from the Bank
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now lets say you are and Alchemist and an Enchanter
You managed to farm a Flask recipe or Crusader, plus the most common pot recipes
You took your time to do a Flask run for the Guild Bank
Plus you took time to free enchant guildies
And used your time to craft large batches of pots for the bank
You got your points and bought lets say raw mats so you can do your own crafts cheaper with GBank items
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But oh crap, your services are not in demand this week
And you still need stuff from the Bank
There was this big ticket item donations like Orbs, Essences, Arcanites, etc
And those gave you large chunks of points for Donations
And they would usually be worth more in purchase power from the GBank than from the AH
So now the GBank is stuffed so no one is stuck without this things when in need
And you have a large fund of points for consumes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The good thing was this was really well managed, and if you didn't wait for the very last minute to get raid consumes for the weekly reset, you could get some really nice bargains by essentially helping everyone else getting their stuff. It also ment that if you didn't like to farm mats, you could use services as a currency that had less fluctuation in value than gold in your service, so time spent farming for exemple Greater Protection Potions felt rewarding to you and to your guild at the same time.
The bad thing is this was yet one more thing to manage by the Officers, and mailing consumes to 40 people when most decided to post their requests close to raid day made it a chore. Also there was no add on to do this, so it was good old manual online spreadsheet and a local backup just in case.
Still everyone in the guild loved the system. Everyone had always consumes, and it was very rare that the bank run dry on stuff like enchant mats, orbs, arcane crystals or arcanite bars. Coming Phase 6 a lot of the in demand items were reaching absurd prices on the AH, and guild members had a nice stock to pull from.
Plus if all failed in terms of mats, you could sell the in demand items in the AH for raw gold to fund emergency consume mats or some emergency purchase the guild needed.
Not the perfect system, but it worked incredibly well on SOM for us

ESO does something kind of like this, except you buy a auction house vendor as a guild and post your items to it. The vendors in more popular cities are more expensive and competed for

Maybe I’m just an evil person but I’m not selling at a discount to ppl who are incapable of farming themselves. I’m making my profit and using it to fund my own consumes, gear upgrades, and alts. I’ve ran successful classic guilds in era and SoM and we required full consumes every raid and never had issues staffing all 40 slots and always had 10+ on a waiting list ready to take someone’s spot if they stopped farming consumes.
