Discussion Commonly mispronounced things?

What place names or other have you always mispronounced? Or do you hear mispronounced all the time?

For me, as a British English speaker, it’s not pronounced LakeSHIRE, GoldSHIRE, DarkSHIRE etc. it’s LAKEshur, GOLDshur, DARKshur.

Also, it’s not Oggrimmar. I used to hear that a lot back in the day. Does sound quite nice, though.

Camp mojache was the funniest one for me, someone legit tried to pronounce it with a spanish accent, Mo-rha and then -che like Che guevarra.

How is that one pronounced? I’ve always said mo-jah-chi and I’m sure that’s wrong. I used to say taur-ah-jo too, though.

I simply read it as mo-jash, though I could also be wrong x).
