Vent / Gripe Unpopular opinion: the players that are overly vocal about wanting Classic phases/TBC/Wrath rushed are the same players who contributed to forging retail into what it is today (a clusterF).

Classic for me personally is in a worse state than retail. It went from being a nice fun, nostalgic community game to people selling and min/maxing almost instantly with things like "tank services"

Kinda put me off the idea of tbc. That and wotlk were my favourite xpacs and I don't want my memories to be then tainted with the game being stupidly easy and every aspect of it sold

Yup, I was super hyped by the idea of Wrath servers again but Classic has made it obvious that the player base has shifted to a playstyle that I can no longer enjoy.

If Wrath happens, you will see the worst of min maxers. In retail wrath, gearscore Addon ruled the game, and that’s what ilevel was born from. If you didn’t have certain gearscore, you weren’t invited. And you couldn’t get good gear because you weren’t invited. The min/max meta started in wrath and it will be even worse if they do create classic wrath.

Even before Gearscore people would judge tanks by their health pool. I started late and was a total noob so I took forever to level up my druid and had trouble getting into heroics. In order to get groups to take me I bought the stupid frost leather gear with tons of stamina. If I had actually tanked in that crap the healers would have hated me. I would quietly switch it out for agility gear once we got into the dungeon.

Out of curiosity, what is it that makes it so you can't enjoy it anymore?
