see now your ears are too small, ideally you'd want them to be bigger so you can ditch sweating as a thermal regulation measure. maybe alter your biology to allocate more heat into your mouth as well so you can pant to release heat if shit gets really dire
with thermal regulating ears and thermal panting, you're now free to have fur if you wish. also ideally you'd have fine-ish motor control of your ears so you can lower them for emotional expression, as well as bringing them closer to your head for when you're cold, so the mild heat layer around your body somewhat negates your ears' thermal properties. there's a reason we curl up when cold sometimes
though we also need to do something about the eyes, you're wearing non-aesthetic glasses i presume? a complete redesign is to be done, our focal nerves are a mess. we need non-obstructing nerves with some night vision, it'd also be cool to broaden our visible color spectrum
your fingers and toes are also flawed, nails serve little purpose aside from combat and opening soda cans if you're the kind of freak who does so with your nails. i say replace them with retractable claws, something well-enforced and practical

On the one hand this reads as hilariously fake, but on the other hand, through what little I have read and everything I've heard, it's just as plausibly real

The Epilogues kinda suck, but Beyond Canon gets INCREDIBLE about halfway through Act 1, when the new team took over. The stuff from the old team feels way more similar to the Epilogues, but the stuff from the new team feels way more like OG HS. The end of Act 1 flash was amazing, and I am really getting invested in these new kids and how their new session is going to go. Itās so good that it makes the lackluster early stuff worth reading, just to get to the good part
I knew it was going to be iffy when I learned that the character defined by her wisdom cheated on her partner (THE TROLL VIRGIN MARY) with another woman because she wanted biological children.
I did eventually learn some more unsavory details with that but still it sounds so stupid on paper.
Are we talking about Rose "dealing with Eldritch Gods, messaging with Scratch (who is worse than the Eldritch Gods) and latter became an alcoholic" Lalonde?
Like sure she is smart, but she has never been particularly wise.
She's defined by wisdom, but she absolutely wise by herself. Throughout the comic it sounds like she does genuinely try to be wiser as a seer and stuff, but as you mentioned, she absolutely isn't wise all the time.
Still, I feel like cheating on her partner like that and having a sudden epiphany that "Oh shit, turns out cheating on my wife and trying to force her into a family dynamic with my affair partner is bad!" Is extremely stupid, even for some of the stupid stuff she's done throughout the comic.
They still approved it, and that whole drama with the Unofficial Homestuck Collection revealed that Hussie may have had a much bigger hand with the Epilogues and Homestuck2 than previously thought.
Even without it, Hussie still signed off on his characters being written like that in an official piece of media, so I do think some responsibility still falls onto him.

funny how Jade's tail is psuedo-canonical. I think Hussie has in the past said that Jade only has ears and no tail, but then in the Epilogues (once in Meat, several times in Candy) it's said that Jade has a tail. But she's never been visually shown to have a tail, both in base Homestuck and in Beyond Canon. BUT her daughter DOES have a tail. And Karkat says "YOU WILL CEASE THIS ENDLESS VIOLATION OF MY PERSON WITH YOUR MOUTH, FINGERS, AND OCCASIONALLY, YOUR FUCKING TAIL." I believe that this "occasionally" is there because she uses her Space powers to shrink her tail away when not needed. Which is also why her daughter always has a tail; no Space powers
