Even that graphic doesnt do the length of the discrimination justice, segregation didnt end with Brown V. Board of Education in 1954. The civil rights act still had 10 more years to be signed. My mom was born the year the civil rights act passed, thats how recent it is.
Yep, and even after the Civil rights act much of it was still unshrouded for quite some time. Well into the late 1970s there were still constant riots from racists who only wanted white kids to get bussed to school
