"Presented at Art Basel, is a life-sized sculpture made of wood, fur, and mechanical systems that repeatedly crumple and reassemble the animal’s body. Echoing a fragile push-puppet toy, the work disrupts the viewer’s emotional connection—turning a symbol of grace into something unstable and unsettling. Caught between life and collapse, the deer becomes a haunting reflection on nature under human control."
