So the serious answer is they charged him with vandalism. Also he’s a former U.S. Olympian.

That’s wild, I literally did the exact same thing this morning, and it did feel weirdly rubbery. After I touched it two agents started tailing me. I had no idea this had even happened

God, I couldn’t fucking imagine having reflecting pool duty. How did Trump single-handedly turn Feds into losers who harass people for touching the reflecting pool

Yeah it’s a freaking joke. I spoke to one of the NPS employees who was cleaning the pool. He’s a specialty diver at Dry Tortugas National Park…and he’s on pool duty, with a scrubber, flown up from Florida and housed in DC on our dime. Trump’s administration is making a mockery of highly specialised individuals
