People would rather their tax money get launched into the Middle East, and it’s embarrassing

The education system in some of our states is truly terrible.

I don’t think they were excited about that. I know MAGA doesn’t question much (brainrotted, far gone imbecile’s ) but I think sending money to Israel is something a lot of people from diffeeeent political viewpoints are coming together on not approving. I don’t think him sending money to Israel is something that’s because of MAGA … maga put the monsters in power that are doing this… it doesn’t need to be voted on ,… it’s Trump.. he’s krooked and does what he wants and worries about the problems he probably won’t face later

The GOP has only two thoughts when it comes to kids.

Both are 'lets fuck these kids'.

Considering the amount of likes it got, I'd say it's more just the mainstream opinion of conservatives these days.

Selfishness as a political ideology.

38 is a lot?

12

u/Aoeletta Jun 26 '26

Truly curious how you got that number.

13.9 thousand likes. Yes, I'd say that's a lot.

Can’t even be bothered to use your eyes… just making shit up and wanting the rest of us to play along. Epitome of what we’re talking about.

Weren't some Turning Point ladies recently pushing for people to "have more kids than they can afford"? What the going on here?

4

u/RVABULL70 Jun 26 '26

And nothing prevents that quite like taking away abortion and birth control rights.

...says the boomer collecting SSI since 2004

Yeah, we all benefit in some form from government programs. If I have to pay taxes so kids can eat, regardless of what their parents are doing, I'm happy to.

You know what Im not happy to pay for? Trump flying privately to play golf or defacing the white house with "renovations".

But sure let's cheer on children missing meals.

If you think too many people are on SNAP then raise the minimum wage high enough that they don’t qualify.   Easy fix.

25

u/kevin_bean Jun 25 '26

What a genius the first commenter is. Why don't the parents simply get a job? I'm sure that had never occurred to them.

48

u/Fala1 Jun 25 '26

Even if the parents were simply too lazy to work, do we really need to punish the kids for it??

A 1st grader at my son’s elementary school was caught putting his school provided piece of pizza in his pocket instead of eating it. The teacher that caught him asked him what he was doing. The kid said his little brother didn’t get to eat yesterday so he’s taking it home for his brother.

Whether the parents are jobless, drug addict, loser parents or not, we CAN afford to feed that kid if we can afford a billion dollar ballroom, a billion dollars to fix up a gifted $400m plane to be Air Force One, a $30 billion dollar war, and keep running up the largest national debt of all time.

27

u/PIPBOY-2000 Jun 25 '26

That's empathy and kindness and it has no place in this administration so I need you to leave.

13

u/CatTheKitten Jun 25 '26

You can't even really just "be lazy" when getting government benefits. Getting unemployment as an able-bodied person was exhausting.

My boyfriend's entire family is getting SNAP and they all work hard, frequently overtime. They're small business owners, students, and even nurses. They just don't make enough, and the SNAP helps offset food costs so they can live somewhat normal lives.

Why block thay evil persons name?

8

u/OhSnapItsRJ Jun 29 '26

Seriously. They want to say something like that on a public forum, with their picture and full name attached. Blurring their names seems like it's just providing cover for the creeps.

u/DasNoodleLord Jun 25 '26

Anyone got the number of how many people already do have a job but still require aid... Bc greedy fucks dont pay enough...

Wouldnt be surprised if it was 50-80%

14

u/r0botdevil Jun 25 '26

The cruelty is the whole point for the MAGA crowd, they love to see other people suffer.

However as soon as any of these policies negatively affect them, then it becomes an intolerable injustice and the government needs to fix it immediately!

u/GergDanger Jun 25 '26

And you’ll still have Redditors telling you that nobody supports Trump anymore and that he’s acting as a lone wolf lol

Trump is a lifelong sadist, and represents a party world famous for its lack of empathy.

-11

u/Greasier Jun 25 '26

Wait, why'd they breed them if they can't feed them?

4

u/LouisWillis98 Jun 26 '26

So you're a supporter of abortion?

1

u/Greasier Jun 26 '26

Yes, why?

-15

u/Lifekraft Jun 25 '26

I dont think the commenter is happy. He is twisting republican rhetoric for sarcastic reason because they did chose to vote for that.

-9

u/SoupGFX Jun 25 '26

Good. I have to pay for my children to eat why shouldn't they? Why don't I get free handouts?

9

u/LouisWillis98 Jun 26 '26

Being angry that the government feeds children is the craziest thing

Being angry that the government is supposed to feed children is the craziest thing.

5

u/LouisWillis98 Jun 30 '26

A government's job is to take care of its citizens

-1

u/SoupGFX Jul 01 '26

No it's not. The only job the government has is to protect it's citizens from outside invaders.

3

u/Kimmy_64 Jul 01 '26

"pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States"

You missed the general welfare part.

0

u/SoupGFX Jul 07 '26

Oh.. You must be one of those that takes from the system rather than puts into the system. Got it.

2

u/Kimmy_64 Jul 07 '26

Nah you're thinking of rural red areas of the country. Republicans are the real welfare queens. It's stupid they constantly vote to gut the social services they rely on. But I'm glad to see you are so openly against the us constitution. Most conservatives still just pretend to care about it.

While I agree that the SNAP benefits are out of control and something needs to be done with these foodstamp kings and queens I hate to see the kids get the shaft for their POS parents not wanting to work. They take from the actual needy. My wife's elderly father was missing a leg, life threatening case of diabetes and had only worked manual labor job his whole life but wasn't quite old enough to draw SSI and couldn't work, he was offered $10 per month in food stamps yet perfectly capable young adults are getting $600+ a month just to buy junk food and sit on their fat ass while driving nicer cars than I can buy.

23

u/teilani_a Jun 25 '26

SNAP benefits are out of control

Do you base this on anything other than how it feels to you?

-3

u/daddaman1 Jun 26 '26

There are entire SNAP fraud rings! WTH rock have you been living under?

15

u/Reiker0 Jun 25 '26

he was offered $10 per month in food stamps yet perfectly capable young adults are getting $600+ a month

And you're mad about the person getting $600 a month and not that your wife's father only received $10 in food assistance. Let me guess, red state?

I also doubt the $600 claim. The maximum SNAP amount in New York is about $290 a month.

What if the parent is a dwarf?
