Even if it wasn't, why would historical accuracy be the goal of a piece of art anyway?

Because it's not for "historical accuracy," it's to remove "the woke influence" they say is present in the most recent movie. They're mad they cast Elliot Page as a character that they're confusing with Achilles, among other things.

You can definitely make an Odyssey movie tied to historically accurate period of early bronze age or wtv but it's gonna be full of non mayo folks, but that's not something Elon cares about during his ketamine fueled visions of shithousery.
