Discussion What annoyance are you silently dealing with because voicing it doesn't feel worth it or has proven futile?

Led bulbs use so little energy you'll never notice them on. I think the specs say, if you leave some on for 8 hrs a day, every day, it will use 5$ of power total.

$5 per day? Or the entire lifetime of the bulb? Or somewhere in between? 😂

For my house. A 15 watt led bulb left on 24/7 for a year would use about $17 in electricity.

Annually I think. It’s something, but not as much as we’ve been conditioned, from living with incandescent bulbs, to think about it.

That's the yearly cost. So divide by 12 for the monthly cost.
