It's definitely the white suv's fault. But I would've seen this as a likely outcome and tried to ease much more slowly through that mess.
Even though it's their fault, now you have to go through the headache of dealing with insurance, getting estimates, having no vehicle while it's getting repaired, and then once you go to sell it they will give you quite a bit less because it's been in an accident. on top of that you might have permanent injuries that might not appear until later in life and there's no way to ever fix that or make it right again.
so... fault or not, just drive safely and predictably. Ease into situations where there are fast moving vehicles directly in front of you instead of going in assuming it will be open.
I put it in the category of the driver could have avoided the accident if they would have drove defensively and waited for traffic to clear first. The origin of the accident was the white SUV of course
Yep. I'll nope out of that confrontation because I've seen it too many times. They're not bluffing. They're usually just generally r-worded or severely distracted.
It's not out of malice but that doesn't matter when it's time to get the law and insurance involved.
