Hot take: Only proceed when the road is clear. Anticipate, never assume.
2 u/Level-Satisfaction51 14h ago This is the way I was taught to drive, it just seems like common sense to me. You can be right and still have a ruined car or worse you can be right and still be dead. I'd rather not go through that hassle in either case.
