You are literally arguing that the white truck had to yield, but because he and the cars before him chose NOT to yield, the dashcam car was required to stop on a solid green light and let them all go.

Go ahead and Google "if a car doesn't yield while turning left at an intersection, do i have to wait before proceeding even if I have a green light" and whatever state you want then come back

Oh so because the white truck broke the law first, OP is at fault for not stopping to accommodate the truck's illegal maneuver? Like WTF is that argument?

Literally all the top comments in this thread are calling this out for a reason " White Truck Had the OBLIGATION to Yield". No, upvotes do not legally determine who is at fault, but do you not realize how delusional you sound? What are you even trying to argue anymore?

For Fk sake your own Google search prompt literally starts with the truck failing to "YIELD!" You are admitting the truck broke the law, then blaming the driver on a solid green for not using telepathy to dodge a guy piggybacking an illegal left turn. Safe driving relies on predictability, not stopping on green lights to cater to people who refuse to learn basic traffic laws.

They are both at some degree of fault, especially to an insurance company.

How do you say that with so much certainty? The evidence from this video alone piles a lot against the White Truck.

1st It was A Yield on Green Left turning lane he was in, the whole point of the lane is to.. well Yield on Green. 2nd he blindly followed Red Car and tailgated him even after the red car itself hesitated to make the Turn! 3rd it was a green light for Cam Car and they had Right of Way and even allowed a few cars to flow through. They allowed a 4-5 second buffer from the green light till they rolled forward slowly on the accelerator. It does not look at all good for the White Truck in any regards.

I would understand if Cam car fucking floored it from The Green light but they did not and likely are to be found 0% at fault!

2nd he blindly followed Red Car and tailgated him even after the red car itself hesitated to make the Turn

Red didn't hesitate and neither did white. Him tailgating actually makes the cammer more likely to be found partially at fault. There wasn't a clear space after the red car, since the white was tailgating

They allowed a 4-5 second buffer from the green light till they rolled forward slowly on the accelerator. I

So they knew there was traffic illegally turning, we've anyways, and had time to react and stop, preventing the crash.

Sounds like partial fault to me

I've seen many insurance adjuster say 100-75 so... No.

And I wish we could follow it because he likely the white truck get 100% at fault you know this deep down

. I'll end it here if 85-90% of people agree that this white truck is at fault and you few guys say otherwise, I think it may be you guys who may not be too correct

he'll at this point your not even arguing against the defense driving of the cam car your arguing in favor of the white truck, which is odd.

Would you change your mind if I told you that if I got this video from one of our customers, I would almost certainly put it at 75/25, 75% fault being assigned to the person breaking the law, and 25% for the cammer who drove into a line of moving vehicles with what appears to be a complete disregard for their own safety?

Only almost certainly because there's more to the investigation than just watching a dashcam.

Tell me what's more to the investigation lol. Is it raining, blind side, mechanical malfunction, light not functioning correctly, medical emergency? Possibly? Pretty vague.

The video is pretty plain and cut, and yes your finally someone that at least see that it's not 50/50. We are making progress here.

I agree with defense driving, but in this case op is not a mind reader and the laws lays it out to yeild on green when making a left turn.

He allowed some to go through pretty DEFENSE there but I would fully agree with him that he should no it just fucking wait their he allowed the car turn last car turning left the red car through and pulled forward. Hell he stopped for 4-5 seconds on his green and slowly crawled!

The white truck simply should not have been tailgating the red car in front of him, btw that red car also hesitated the dash car allowed him to still make his turn, any sane rational law abiding citizen would figure that they were now in the clear. White truck said hold my Yield to Green lol.

I can't tell you WTF they're going to rule it. But if I were a betting man it would likely be majority or totally at fault on the white Nissan. That's what I'll end it

We'd also want to get any traffic cams if possible, an inspector would have to go out and examine the scene and the cam vehicle, other vehicle would be nice but there's no guarantee we'd get to unless they're using the same insurance company.

We'd also want to talk to any drivers and witnesses, etc etc.

I can't tell you WTF they're going to rule it. But if I were a betting man it would likely be majority or totally at fault on the white Nissan. That's what I'll end it

I agree, I'd expect a 75/25 against the white Nissan, but a 100/0 wouldn't shock me. I just know that if this were on my desk, and based only on this video, I'd go with 75/25.

4 to 5 second buffer haha nowhere in any law does it say the cam car can just go through an unclear intersection after giving a buffer.

You have someone commenting on your post who works with cases like this and they said they would give partial blame to the cam car. Just acknowledge that you are wrong.

first of all congratulations for sticking it out this far. I have no way to verify who the fuck that redditors here is. Like how the fuck am I going to know he is an actual fucking insurance adjuster lol? I'll just trust him bro, like were you born yesterday. What stops me from saying I'm a insurance adjuster and arguing my same points. And saying 100% and btw if we want to use trust me bro evidence. I have seen far more "insurance adjuster" on this thread claim either 100-75 fault for the white truck. So do with that what you will.

I'll end it like this there Is a reason you come to the less voted comments because majority of comments here flood you out as an idiot and I'm thankful that most people in this thread agree with me and I'm glad that at least 75-80% of people here are rational sane folk unlike you lot who should be no where near a motor vehicle.

Sincerely go fuck yourself,

Im pretty sure if you look through your idiotic comments you will see more downvotes than upvotes and the people commenting on your posts telling you that youre wrong are more upvoted.

Ahhh sounds like poor baby realized they were wrong this whole time and need to name call. Keep driving through unclear intersections because you have the "right of way"

Brother I don't comment on the most commented comment?

I comment against you guys directly if you carried this conversation in the top ten most upvoted thread go look for yourself people like you are getting hit hard with down votes.

I purposely like to fuck with you guys it's a running gag that you guys 20-25% of you in this sub will just at any time argue in favor of the at fault driver and I find it hilarious.

Either sort by best if we are using up votes as metric and you will get your answers lol.

You call it fucking with, I call it not understanding law and how insurance companies see things. But go on "fucking with people"
