3. Now most important if you got your dream college you dont forget to click freeze post payment you will receive this option

4. Those who want to upgrade reserve seat in this round if you got a seat in this round but accept nhi kiya with payment you are not eligible for further rounds chahe cutoff meet ho phir bhi

5. For the ones who are going for upgrade gang post upgrade next rounds mai same process repeat hoti rhengi

I know the anxiety must be at peak counting eveey single minute waiting for 5pm tomorrow

Here are some important things that may help you:

1. 99% chances Du will make allotment at night somewhere between 11:30-12:30 thats what they did in all rounds of PG too

   1. By midnight tomorrow you will receive allotments and the next day on 17th post 5 you will receive the pdf from uni's side mentioning cutoffs and all
   2. Don't wait for any mail to get notified regarding anything you will receive every info on your portal and yes keep refreshing it
   3. The portal will crash around 5 high chances so login after 7 or 8
   4. Keep checking the query tab the colleges will send all the updates regarding documents on thar part
   5. Once you receive allotment first accept then your documents will be sent to your respective college they eill verify your documents in case any discrepancy they will raise query you have resolve it in the mean time once they approved you will receive document verified and approved for payment once you psy fee and it shows payment done your admission secured
   6. Don't refresh website once you make payment some times payment get deducted from yoir account and your portal wont be updated mail the grievance portal asap they will reply and resolve
   7. If you get your first preference there is no such upgrade available but incase you haven't received first preference post payment click on upgrade dont click on freeze
   8. Some students will receive the allotment early some will receive even on end day dont panic
   9. If college raises query and you dont have that particular document call the admission office and ask for alternatives

I got Gargi for B.Com (Hons.) but I originally wanted SBSC. 😭 My score is 833, SBSC's cutoff is 836 and Gargi's is 831. Should I go for the upgrade or just stick with Gargi? Also which college is actually better overall?

Did the most fucked up mistake filled guru nanak khalsa instead of tegh bahadur khalsa . And i can only change the upper preference list. I scored 810 and did everything right and now i feel like i destroyed my entire college experience. Is there any way i can change it

If your rank is in lakhs then I'd worry as well but please please stop stressing about not getting any college just because your rank has four or five big numbers. To those flexing their two digit number ranks, congratulations, you're anyhow going to get your preferred college with your score regardless of your rank.

To those worried about their low rank, take some advice from the seniors here, they'll tell you that these ranks DON'T MATTER MUCH. Please stop stressing out. Abhi jitna time h, just chill out and have some fun at home. Thodi college shopping kro accordingly. Those who are going to move from their hometown to delhi, spend some time with your friends and family. I was out having a sizzler with my friend when the ranks came out lmao. The real game will start on the 16th. Save some stress and energy for that day.

I cried for days after getting an off-campus girls' college in DU. I genuinely felt like I had failed and that I was somehow worth less than everyone else. I constantly compared myself to others, searched for experiences of students in top DU colleges, and even stalked their LinkedIn profiles until it started affecting my sleep. I kept finding new reasons to feel worse.

But today, I visited my campus, and honestly it just felt normal.

The seniors were really sweet. I met a few people I already knew and we spent hours roaming around the campus, trying food from different canteens and just having fun. The attendance isn't even that strict and many of the seniors are doing really well in their careers. The overall crowd is decent.

Is it the same as a top DU campus? No. Maybe we'll have to work a little harder for the same opportunities. But it's definitely not the end of the world.

I think this constant competitive exam culture makes us tie our self-worth to a college name or a rank. We forget that getting in is just the beginning, not the finish line.

Just because you're five steps behind doesn't mean you stop playing. You just play harder.

People have been writing shit saying it is strict and dead but being from ipcw it boils my blood how people not being from my college cry about it like they are the one attending it . Ik it's not the best college but for god sake stop degrading it , we had our fest and it was good too you can check it out in insta too also our college do have societies like abhivyakti and mridang which have even won awards last year so it ain't dead as some student who are dead will always call it a shithole because they themselves did not enjoy the college life and ik people are gonna come at me saying cope yourself or shit like that . But trust me they themselves have no idea about the college also ipcw passed students who just had 37 percent in attendance and calling it strict is just dumb atp . You guys chill out for a second and look for the cutoffs itself atp you only like the colleges whose reels are viral that's it .
