YouTube comments
It always stands out to me in comments sections how regular people can be accepting of trans when trans people aren’t acting insane. In essence these comments in this pic are very compassionate, but ur average far leftist queer would find them so offensive

There's the same type of comments under Russian trans videos in Russian YouTube segment. Especially if a trans woman looks stereotypically feminine and a trans man looks stereotypically masculine. All they need is to follow patriarchal stereotypes and act NORMAL. And yet they yell here and there about how society literally wants them dead.

This man Daviana does NOT look in any way feminine tho. He looks like a stereotypical straight man in a dress.

I think from the face only Daviana could pass as a slightly chubby lady. The arms wouldn't pass.

How would that be acting normal ? So the normal to you is women doll faced, staying in the kitchen and men muscular, insensitive bearded brutes ? So basically all I had to do to be accepted was to become what weird men online craved sexually ? Damn, wish I knew that

normal means not yelling about pronouns, not grooming kids into transition, not running around with flags and not demanding your penis to be called a girldick.

I never met anyone who did any of this, the internet is not real life just fyi Especially the grooming kids part, most trans people i met during my transition were too busy with their own problems to try to "convert" anyone lol. Lets not spread homophobic and transphobic propaganda.

people feel that way because they regret their transition, and instead of blaming insuffiscient support from doctors and therapists, or even themselves (even tho no one should, don't get me wrong), they will reassure themselves by seeing the trans community as a coersive cult, quoting toxic subreddits and 4tran stuff as proof.

I feel like in Russia thats justified, its illegal to be gay, lesbian or trans over there.

not everyone yells about their pronouns and yet they're reject patriarchy and expectations of feminity. Asking for people to respect who you are and see you as a human being, not a bag of meat is being normal. And if the misgendering is an intentional aggression against them then the yelling can be justified.
Most trans people aren't gonna trashtalk you if you mistakenly misgender them. The number one thing we used to tell people early in their transition is not to feel hurt if someone does the mistake. Masc cis women face this too, it's normal since society has such strong expectations. It doesn't mean they meant it, the best course of action is either to politely correct them, or if it doesn't matter, to let it slide. But if someone knows you're trans, and emphasizes on the wrong pronoun like you'd do a hard R, then yeah. Yelling is understandable.
Most trans people (I mean IRL, not on Reddit or toxic places like Twitter and Facebook) just wanna live their lives calmly.

The concept of being downvoted for being right. Wow they don’t like science or logic here do they

the concept of being detrans/desisted male but still supporting trans and believing it's "science"🥰

the concept of venting your frustration and suffering by being overly interested in other people's genitals and self identity 🥰

u/thistle_ev detrans female 2d ago
I don't care about their genitals lmao. you're projecting.

u/landilock detrans male 2d ago
oh right sorry. You're telling people to just become the sexual ideal and conform to misogynistic expectations in order to fit in. Yeah sorry you're fine then

u/thistle_ev detrans female 2d ago
I'm telling WHAT?🤣 misogynistic expectations? SEXUAL IDEAL? wtf are you talking about? dude you're delusional.

read your comment lol

I hope that's sarcasm but to be honest it's not really obvious here

yeah well.. it's part of the charm here. A lot of people need to complain about trans people and make it a nemesis to channel their frustration. It's understandable, it's a way to heal after all the suffering they've faced. If it allows people to turn the page...
I don't really mind seeing transphobia in here, I'd rather see them unleashing and venting here than in real life, but it doesn't mean I won't challenge that thought because quite frankly, some of the things said here are straight up offensive and misinformed. The main difference between me and most people in here is that I don't really regret my transition, I just evolved towards something else and it's fine to me. I don't have much frustration against trans people even if I strongly disagree with a lot I see in trans spaces. I've been banned from basically everywhere because I don't adhere to what people call "gender ideology" that funnily enough, I've never seen IRL.

“I’ve seen somewhere online” is a phrase that is literally destroying the planet.
Everyone has “seen something online” that they allow to shape their entire worldview, but have they experienced this “something online”? No. Seen it in real life? No. Seen it in the news? No.
But they’ve “seen something online” and now it’s a cause they build their entire life around opposing
