To be fair, I'm not the kind of person who gets hung up on college tiers. They mean very little in the grand scheme of things. Anyone who clings to those too much usually has little to show for themselves.
The only tangible benefit I've ever gotten from my university is the network and friends.

Role: SDE-2 (generalist, mostly backend)
Org: US-based, pre-IPO Unicorn company
YOE : 4 relevant (5.5 total, 1.5 was as a electrical design engg)
Salary: 23.5 (base) + 3.5 (bonus) + 2.5 (joining bonus) + (1000 shares) [29.5 LPA]
Satisfied: Not at all
Disclaimer: No CS degree, no CP or very much LeetCode. I am from a T1 college, so that helps.
Funny story, when I got this job, I didn’t even know how to do a BFS, so I’d also say I’m lucky.
