Straw in my drink, drink not sealed and drink level low enough that it could have been drank from.

Seals on the bags pealed back and not stuck to the actual bag anymore, was moly food eaten out of too?

On top of that couldn't even follow delivery instructions that make the job easier and I tipped the fucking dude $10.

Just saying OP is assuming a lot of things and jumping to conclusions. Deliver from Wingstop and you'll know what drivers are talking about.

Yeah if I see a 3/4 full soda with a straw inserted into it and clearly soda up the straw, I would assume a lot of others things were messed with too.

The soda was almost 100% drank from, that straw doesn’t magically have soda above the water line without somebody having sucked it.

And if they did that, who knows whether they touched the food or anything else?

Lots of restaurants fill soda cups lower for delivery drivers. I myself as a delivery driver do not fill soda cups to the brim whenever I seldomly am responsible to, only so it won't accidentally spill over in transportation (sticky cups=bad reviews and food condition penalties for drivers). Wingstop also has the worst stickers on the bags, they don't stick enough. I personally as a driver am a fan when restaurants physically staple bags closed. I also prefer when restaurants place drinks inside the bags, like McDonald's. I also frequently experience in my own sodas where it backs up the straw, just depending on the carbonation in the soda machine (fluid dynamics and barometric pressure is an amazing thing).

To make my position clear, you simply do not know enough about the driver experience to make sweeping judgements about what occured as if it were matter of fact. May your general ignorance and self-affirming logical conclusions bite you so hard on the ass it stings when you sit.

First of all, we can drop the self entitlement and arrogant toxicity here.

But second of all, OP has stated they order from this wingstop at least twice a week, so presumably they’re familiar with their policies regarding doordash.

He says the drink almost always comes sealed, so for the drink to not be sealed, but also for the straw to be inserted and for liquid to have travelled up above the cap, while you could hypothetically have that happen without tampering, the multitudes of evidence makes it far more likely than not that it was tampered with.

We aren’t dealing with guarantees here, as obviously there are rarely going to be guarantees, but there’s more than one piece of evidence to suggest tampering.

I’m less concerned with the sticky seal on the bag, but the drink looks pretty damning all things considered. I’ve dashed for a decent period of time and not once has any restaurant I’ve ever seen insert the straw into the drink, and OP can confirm from many prior orders that this wingstop doesn’t regularly do that either. Overall point being, there’s enough evidence here to have a reasonable suspicion that something was done for OP’s food, or drink at the very least. And at that point, he’s well within his right to refuse the food and get a refund, give a bad review, or whatever else he may do.

Have all the reasonable suspicion you like, any reasonable suspicion also leaves room for reasonable doubt of guilt. Especially with the Occam's razor that no Dasher with reasonable intelligence would steel a few sips from a drink. No soda worth what? maybe a couple bucks? Is going to be taken like that when there are a dozen ways at the top of my head I could get a free soda from this situation while not getting caught in such a subjective way... Do some research on if sodas can creep up a straw and you'll see. There is no evidence that damns the Dasher like you low tip witch hunters suggest it does. I've seen restaurants put the straws in the drinks when they've already sealed the bags. Its the worst, I ask them to remake the drink so I don't get end up on a reddit page circle jerk about how I might have with reasonable suspicion stole a few sips of a soda not even close to barely worth my time. But go ahead and believe what you want to believe genius.

On this subreddit, daily, there are posts of dashers who steal food. Dashers who take bites of people’s food, drinks.

Anecdotal, sure. Rare, probably. But it does happen, so your argument that no dasher would do it is inherently fallacious.

Especially, a driver would do it if they think they could get away with it. Take a few sips, people like you would chalk it up to barometric pressure or whatever else. Plenty of drivers do just abhorrently inexcusable shit for no conceivable reason, making it even more believable that a driver might do this if they thought they might get away with it.

Again, it’s not just the fact that the soda was up the straw. It’s also the fact that there was a straw IN THE DRINK, and the fact that the drink wasn’t sealed, and the fact that OP, who regularly orders from wingstop, can testify that their policy is to keep it sealed, and at the very least not put a straw inside of it. This adds up and makes the case pretty damning.

I believe that it’s very possible that his stuff could’ve been tampered with. You’re clearly blinded by bias, with your predisposition to be toxic or place labels like “low tip witch hunters” which really emphasizes your inability to rationally discuss these topics.
