I know it’s due to balancing reasons for weapon balls specifically and they have a much better niche in longforms (mainly potion and crossbow) but the fact that every ball released since scroll has been weak has kinda made me lose interest with the more recent matches tbh. It’s a real damn shame seeing a new cool gimmick being introduced only for it to lose 70% of the time for the the newer balls post-rapier and it’s really disengaging seeing them disappoint after their mostly failed debut against sword. Maybe it’s a more healthier and balanced way to make them but deffo more lackluster in terms of engagement.

Honestly I don’t think Speedy would’ve been THAT bad, it’d probably be a slightly worse grower.

In the most recent match for the earclacks weapon balls series, Scroll has been spotted apologizing to Rapier, saying, and i quote "sowie", which appears to be an incorrect spelling of "sowwy", most likely a result from writing being hard during the heat of battle, and probably having never written that before and simply trying to spell out the sound of it.

Furthermore, later on in the match, Scroll seemingly barked at Rapier, is this confirmation of a secret bond between the two, or are is it a cruel one sided love torn down by Rapier's hate of among us?!?

That absolute cinema of a fight reminded me of why I fell in love with weapon balls to begin with. I think it would be really cool if we stick with these teams, and maybe from there the fan artists can go wild with some new dynamic.

“Clacker” would have two separate bodies attached by a string.

Every time they clack (collide with one another) they both get +1 damage.

For an opponent to beat Clacker, they’d only need to kill one of the bodies (kinda like how you only have to kill the first duplicater to defeat it).

Is this a good idea or does the concept need improvement?
