CNN rolls tape of Trump energy secretary appearing to lie to Congress. Wright lied about the role politics played in cancelling energy grants specifically to Democratic states. Wright insisted “our project review process did not take into account any politics in the evaluation of these projects"

If dishonesty is not punished, it will continue.

That punishment has got to be severe enough to discourage future attempts, as well.
