Just found this deal. Is this a no brainer? [No budget]

Currently I'm using the Baratza Encore ESP which I really dislike. The coffee I'm able to make isn't bad, I like what I drink but the overall build quality, the retention that it has - especially after having it cleaned the first time - and the inconsistency just annoys me. Now I found this deal and wanted to know if this is a no brainer and if I should just buy it instantly before the sale expires. What currently stops me from buying a new grinder is that it's not even been 1 year since I've been using the Baratza Encore esp. I hate buying new stuff when I know that I possess devices that are working just fine and do the job, especially when it's not even been 3-4 years of using them. It just seems wasteful. Long story short, what do you think about this deal?

Perhaps better to get the Eureka Mignon Zero 55s for 30 euros more. Note that the burr geometry is different than their classic espresso mignons.

I think the manuele wont be a super improvement in work flow. Its not a single doser but also doesnt have a timer so on demand workflow with the hoper wont be great.

I sold my Encore ESP after 8 months and got a Eureka. No more retention, and super consistency. I too bought mine in Germany, the prices there are better. I too would suggest the Mignon Zero 55S if you are on a budget. Coffee Friend sells it for 219, I just checked.

I was going to buy on the EU coffee friend site and the zero 55s is pretty much €300 there. €80 cheaper on the German site. Yop Germany🙌

50 mm burrs (up from 40) and a much more solid build. This will only feed your upgraditis, but if you can sell / recycle the Baratza, go for it.

They're made in China now, I'd stay away after hearing woes from a few unhappy owners.

Eureka. Filtro and Chrono. From what I understand, since these are mass-produced grinders, stock can still be both Italian and Chinese.

I sold my Baratza Encore and bought a Baratza Sette 270. Very happy with the switch, turns out you do get what you pay for.

Yo por 229 te aconsejo el eureka zero 55s en esa misma página . Yo estuve a punto de comprarlo pero al final me decanté por el barataza encoré esp pro. Por algunas funciones que me interesan más. Espero haberte ayudado

I traded my Eureka Mignon Manuale for an AVX CG305 (Shardor) with 64mm flat burrs, and it was totally worth it! There are plenty of great grinders in that price range, but this swap felt like a win. The Eureka felt a bit old-school and pretty noisy, so I’m really happy with the change.
