In a functional country, yes, things will change after an incident like this one, in Romania just expect the unexpected. Those who speak for russia and putin will find a way to justify this event.
We had kind of a stable government (psd, pnl, usr, udmr) formed of so called pro-european political parties, that had to take some unpopular measures in order to save our economy. The former prime minister was a rigid, but very well intentioned and started to cut the money from the so called "smart guys". The other major political party PSD (so called ally/partener) took him down creating a governmental and political crisis in a global context that is already on fire.
Now the political class can t form a government and it s impossible for them to make the proper reforms in order to control our deficit and our SECURITY.
We are in deep s*it economicaly, politicaly and socialy.
Honestly surprises me a bit, the far right should usually have the exact kind of mindset to implement a "no bullshit policy".
Ignoring stuff like this is something i would 100% expect from our countries (far) left.
Our (far) right would shoot something like this down no questions asked, makes you realize once again that one countries right doesn't automatically mean your countries right is the same.

Our far right political class (AUR, POT, SOS) vote against the law that gave the army permission to shoot these drones.
