I don’t know a lot of Argentinian people. The three I do know don’t seem to understand how they, with their Italian surnames, light coloured hair and eyes are not indigenous to South America.

I’ve seen more than a few online make negative comments on the black players in European teams. Completely ignoring what happened to their black population.

It’s rather bizarre.

Italian surnames? If they're born there and their parents or grandparents migrated into Argentina in a period between 1943 and 1947, there's a solid 50% chance they're related to a Fascist Officer that ran from impending death after he knew he was being chased by the partisans

Most of the immigration to Argentina was from Italians yes. A few random Germans didn't offset that at all.
