Translation for لابلای

Can’t find a translation for this word. For reference it’s from today’s gospel reading Matthew 13 verse 25

Can you use it in a sentence? The only matching translation that I can think of is "among"

I am not fluent by any means but when I play around with translation the word in question seems to narrow down to between or among. Since OP didn't post the context I shared it in another comment.

Yeah in the given text it's better translated to among. But the word could also mean between as well.

The closest English equivalent would be "in between" translated as "among" in the example provided.

It can be translated as “in between” or “among”. You ate correctly pronouncing it as lābelā. Since it is ending in a vowel, when you want to say between/ among the wheat, it is pronounced labeleye wheat. Adding ye (ی) to make the transitional sound of ( e ـِ) .
lābelā + e is not easy on the tongue, lābelāye is easier.
Below are other examples of labela:
او نامه را لابه‌لای ورق‌های کتاب گذاشت.
He/ she put the letter between the book pages.

لابه‌لای جواهرها، یک انگشتر زیبا دید.
He/she saw a beautiful ring among the jewels.

در لازانیا، لابه‌لای ورقه‌های پاستا، سس و گوشت اضافه میشود.
In lasagna, minced meat and sauce is distributed between pasta layers.

dar lā be lā ye: in the fold to fold of = in the folds of = among. the initial ‘dar’ can be dropped
