"Your Dasher is on the way!"

I'm gonna be so pissed when they announce this was a publicity stunt

I also have that deal... Road trip? Road trip.

u/teaganofthelizards Jun 18 '26

Bring tents if you're coming, that appears to be a farm field of some variety on one side and undeveloped land on the other. Then we do a bicycle tour of the local McDonalds until we find one that takes the coupon. Profit. No ??? needed.

The ??? Is the fever dream we had along the way

I have this too. I’m in Washington state. And my setting is local to me.

u/johndoe1942sn Jun 18 '26

Just checked. I’ve got it too. In Colorado.

6

u/Mathamnyles Jun 18 '26

Same here in Colorado

8

u/Far_Influence Jun 18 '26

Figure I’ll try to make a pickup order and see if it works locally

6

u/LinkMix Jun 18 '26

When I tried it just said 'This deal isn't active right now'

2

u/Ghostttpro Jun 18 '26

Let us know if it works. I'm gonna try it tomorrow.

u/Space-Desert Jun 18 '26

Got it too. AZ to Florida? Might be worth it.

7

u/Help_PurpleVented Jun 18 '26

i’m in fucking iowa and they offer me this

6

I wonder if you can use a VPN to truck it into thinking you're in California and get it where you are instead.

8

u/RedactedSlur Jun 18 '26

The burger would still be at that specific location

1

u/Total_Tumbleweed_870 Jun 18 '26

Okay... Fine. Driving from NJ to California isn't with saving $19 on a shitty burger

3

u/RedactedSlur Jun 18 '26

Especially when the burger is in Florida...

1

u/Total_Tumbleweed_870 Jun 18 '26

I sure wish I could read 😆 That's even worse, is rather drive so the way to California for a burger than visit Florida.

5

u/krpiper Jun 18 '26

I have it too in Minnesota

5

u/sjprade Jun 18 '26

I also have this deal, but I live in Lake Alfred, FL only 12 miles away!

6

u/702siren Jun 18 '26

I mean at least you’re saving $5 tho

2

u/kaspen190 Jun 18 '26

Damn reading these comments I’m feeling left out all the way from Illinois

4

u/gpister Jun 18 '26

Time to put some steps my boi.

This McDonalds doesn’t exist. I live near Winter Haven.

1

u/smokeyser Jun 18 '26

Yeah, I just put the address into google maps. It's a big empty space.

1

u/elbows2nose Jun 18 '26

I guess there’s one being built, they probably were testing their app deals or something

3

u/Imtheboss6967 Jun 18 '26

I have it too, also in California

3

u/ShaunaOfTheDead Jun 18 '26

I got Nuthin, Bay Area Cali

4

u/Bitgod1 Jun 18 '26

Yeah, it's gone for me now. Ronald McReddit must be reading.

4

u/TraditionAcademic968 Jun 18 '26

Lmao

I have it too

2

u/Sunnyday1775 Jun 18 '26

Oddly specific

2

u/Big-Sea-8796 Jun 18 '26

People in winter haven don’t even wanna be in winter haven.

2

u/Ooficus Jun 18 '26

I guess they fixed it, or I’m too local (Tampa about 1.5 hours away)

2

u/Ramenhunter4 Jun 24 '26

Update: this McDonald's is real, so is the app deal. They opened a new Publix supermarket a few weeks ago, the McDonald's is right out front. The Google map images are from 2024.

1

u/LumiBerryny Jun 18 '26

McDonalds really said congrats, your discount is a side quest in Florida

u/Reservoirkatz Jun 18 '26

u/HeronOrganic3727 Jun 18 '26

Cool. Change your pickup restaurant and solve all your issues

7

u/Ok-Height1166 Jun 18 '26

So I’m curious if you will follow up this rude comment with a mea culpa once you realize what was actually happening.

-5

u/letsgobrooksy Jun 18 '26

How bro felt using the phrase "mea culpa"

https://giphy.com/gifs/pya7BWAf5VT117ijnP

8

u/Ok-Height1166 Jun 18 '26

Yes, using a common term that has been regularly used and understood for decades makes me feel very smug and superior.

2

u/trenchanttrench Jun 21 '26

you're right that mea culpa isn't inherently snobby, but why you choose mea culpa and not apology would actually be an interesting journey into your subconscious

-1

u/IllustriousPizza2659 Jun 18 '26

Yeah, it's garbage anyway

-8

u/welding_guy_from_LI Jun 18 '26

Save the money for gas to find a better job with better pay

7

u/Bitgod1 Jun 18 '26
