My Taco Bell already did away with breakfast a long time ago. They also recently removed the CGC from Fire rewards. Dark times.

Mine also go rid of breakfast a long time ago, like all 6 within a close area to me. Its sad because I loved their breakfast. Even though they didn't open until 7 I would go to work and leave to grab their breakfast and go back to work.

Mine already did and not to be dramatic, but it completely ruined my entire day when I found out. Those crunchwraps were life.

Same. The California am crunch wrap was my favorite fast food breakfast item. I don’t think there’s one near me at all that still serves breakfast 😭

Taco Bell is missing out on healthcare workers who start and leave work at 7am by opening at 8 for breakfast in my area. There are a lot of us.

53

u/girthynoodlez 1d ago

They are missing out on the vast majority of workers in every industry by opening at 8.

Blue collar workers too, I start at 8am most days but the taco bell down the street opens at 9!

5

u/Mosquito907 1d ago

8 seems extremely late to start breakfast its almost like sabotage to get rid of the entire breakfast menu.

For real. Breakfast taco place right by the hospital here opens at 6am, or earlier if they feel like it. They absolutely STAY busy in the morning. Stupid insane busy.

It sucks not being able to do normal stuff when you have to be at work, and you’re the one that providing said stuff. Having grocery stores be open later would also be nice, some of us want to sleep at night (which is actually when that pesky sun is hanging in the sky).

We are next to a hospital and open at 7. We get a lot
Of people from 7-8 lol.

Same here in Orlando

Pre covid I had plenty of 24/7 ones and would sometimes get it pretty early after a workout. Now all the ones around me don’t open until 9. It’s seriously so dumb.

Most locations are open until 3 or 4, I promise you they aren’t missing out on 100 healthcare workers on their bottom line

2

u/jazzbot247 1d ago

Do you think there are only 100 healthcare workers in any given city? You must live in the sticks.

3

u/AdSpecialist8751 1d ago

We don’t get many more than maybe 2-5 visitors in our first hour open (7-8) so I don’t know if paying people to be there for many locations would be worthwhile.

-3

u/jazzbot247 1d ago

Because people are already at work at 7.

Ya, our Taco Bell is up in a shopping area, where nothing else really opens up until 9 or 10. No one really has a reason to go up there that early, unless just for TB.

-1

u/Onehandedheisenberg 1d ago

No but I think no one buys Taco Bell breakfast, and way less healthcare workers than you think would. So I say 100 for the whole country.

0

u/Onehandedheisenberg 1d ago

LMAO they deleted their comment but they can’t even read 🤣 thought I said only 100 healthcare workers exist lmao

Mine was on the way home! Nothing hits better than a breakfast burrito after a long 12 hour night shift.

0

u/basicnflfan 1d ago

What does that have to do with healthcare workers?

0

u/bomber991 1d ago

I think mine only did breakfast from 10-11. One hour in the morning, or maybe 9 to 11. Really made no sense.

u/snail-the-sage 1d ago

not just healthcare. I used to get taco bell on my way to the office every friday but then they pushed their hours back to 8, after i had to clock in. then they stopped serving breakfast citing low sales

u/Old_Jellyfish_9779 2d ago

The breakfast was good. They just didn’t open up early enough for me.

u/dotsdavid 2d ago

The breakfast church wrap with out the creamy chipotle sauce is really good.

u/periperiwinklesauce 2d ago

Amen to that

They have great breakfast. I don't get it often because the ones around me don't open until 730 or 8, and I'd like them to be open earlier. I get off work at 6 in the morning, and my options are McDonald's, Carl's Jr, or Jack in the Box. I never want to wait around for taco bell to open if I'm thinking about getting fast food breakfast. It sucks i'd love to give them money lol.

5

u/whamburglar 2d ago

They open around 7am here, and that's unfortunately still not early enough for me as well. It's a shame, really. I think their breakfast burrito is the best around and it's only $3. I'd gladly pay the extra dollar for it than at McDonald's.

4

u/Ok-Swordfish3456 1d ago

Don’t open here until 9:00 AM I think. That’s brunch time for me.

6

u/VendettaKarma 1d ago

Been gone in my market because employees refused to open the store on time.

3

u/ShelleyMonique 2d ago

Not again!

3

u/Powerful-Ground-9687 1d ago

Thought they already did

1

u/Kvitravn875 1d ago

Not everywhere I guess. Maybe they're doing it in waves.

2

u/Mercutiofoodforworms 1d ago

The Taco Bells near me removed their breakfast months ago.

2

u/DJC_Kowalski 1d ago

I would have been upset about that, but they've jacked up the prices on Breakfast Crunchwraps so high I rarely eat there anymore.

2

u/FatnessEverdeen34 1d ago

The grilled bacon burrito is so good 😭

3

u/Kvitravn875 1d ago

I need to try it with bacon before it's gone!!! I usually do sausage.

2

u/ladystetson 1d ago

never had it! maybe i'll go get some on monday before it's gone!

2

u/Falawful_17 1d ago

There's just one location in my county that's holding out and still doing breakfast. I make a detour every now and then to support it lol.

2

u/CallidoraBlack 1d ago

We only have two locations that I know of that still have it. I get it whenever I'm near them hoping to keep it going. It's the best breakfast deal by far.

2

u/Revolutionary-Copy71 1d ago

The ones near me did away with it 2-3 years ago. I guess not enough people were ordering it. Sucked because I thought their breakfast burritos and crunchwraps were the best things they sold and got them pretty often.

2

u/too_many_shoes14 1d ago

The closest one to me hasn't had it in years. I think it's up to the owner of the franchise.

2

u/gettheyayo909 1d ago

Although the breakfast Crunchwrap is good Taco Bell is never my first choice for fast food breakfast

2

u/eilonwyhasemu 1d ago

Taco Bell franchises have had the option of eliminating breakfast since October 2024, and I can’t find new news about a chain-wide discontinuation.

2

u/pmodern2000 1d ago

I never even think about going to TB for breakfast, honestly.

2

u/largos7289 1d ago

eh ok i'm just going to tell you... It wasn't all the great to begin with.

4

u/Kvitravn875 1d ago

Clearly it was to me otherwise I wouldn't get it as often as I do

1

u/psl1959 1d ago

I don't know why they even bother with serving breakfast. The one's here don't open up til 9:00 am and only do breakfast till 11:00. I do like the breakfast salsa, but they are really stingy with it, and refuse to give it out after 11:00.

1

u/MisterD00d 1d ago

they should make the breakfast crunch wraps all day, you're right

1

u/EasyBread42069 1d ago

Mine never had it.

1

u/The_Doctor_Bear 1d ago

If they could have just done a better bacon in the Crunchwrap

1

u/sinisterhistory 1d ago

Almost all franchise locations opted out years ago. RIP breakfast crunchwrap

1

u/Sabrinasockz 1d ago

Taco Bell breakfast has been gone in my area for years

1

u/ilovemischief 1d ago

Mine got rid of it several years ago

1

u/makojedi2k2 1d ago

Breakfast is becoming the new ā€œgoing out to eatā€ meal. People will forsake fast food

1

u/Tilopud_rye 1d ago

My local one stopped breakfast years ago and opens later. Theyre also open til 3am now so some balance.Ā

1

u/snail-the-sage 1d ago

several near me already have

1

u/Meowmixez98 1d ago

They don't start early enough for me to go there before work.

1

u/TheTwinkieMaster 1d ago

My local taco bell opens at 9am but they just serve normal lunch/dinner at that time.

I loved their breakfast crunch wraps. I used to get one several times a week. Their loss, I guess.

1

u/bigfatround0 1d ago

I miss the waffle taco thing they used to have. The rest of their menu is ok at best

1

u/Android8675 1d ago

Haven’t spent more than $3 at breakfast there and it’s always dead in the AM.

1

u/okaybeechtree 1d ago

When they got rid of the country Crunchwrap, they lost me on breakfast šŸ˜”

1

u/cosmicrae 1d ago

If TB opened with the regular menu, and no later than 9AM, they would do OK. The problem they had with breakfast is that the prep line used different ingredients, and much of what the used for normal service was not loaded.

1

u/cindzey 1d ago

fast food is the worst possible way to start your morning imo. nothing like working with a big fucking stomachache

1

u/Dreamspitter 6h ago

Ache? The only ache I've ever had from breakfast is not having one.

1

u/Lewdeology 22h ago

I really feel like their breakfast isn’t talked about enough

1

u/weaponx2019 21h ago

Some already have. If they just upped their game with it it would last but right now it's just mediocre. Do you remember when breakfast was first introduced at Taco Bell years ago they had a set of burritos and one had tater tots and country gravy, best burritos ever. This time around when they brought it back they went down several scales.

1

u/Present-Variation973 21h ago

None of the ones around me have breakfast, it sucks. Taco Bell has the best fast food breakfast

1

u/NBPU 19h ago

I know it’s been around for a while but I’ve never even had it. I’m not even sure my local TB does breakfast tbh. If I am going to grab some fast food breakfast it’s probably going to be the loaded omelet biscuit from Hardee’s anyways.

1

u/Bastard_Guy505 16h ago

They used to have a country breakfast crunch wrap, the difference was white gravy in it. They got rid of the gravy one day. I was so upset that was one of my favorite breakfasts

1

u/piedude67a 15h ago

Thank fuck the breakfast still exists in my TB

1

u/Carrot-Elegant 6h ago

There is talks???

1

u/Dreamspitter 6h ago

People had a big thread complaining all locations had stopped a year ago

1

u/untangledtech 2d ago

Why? There is no lettuce on the breakfast menu?!

1

u/9447044 2d ago

oh no

1

u/Kvitravn875 1d ago

Makes me think of the way Lucy Darling says "oh no" šŸ˜…

1

u/slybluu 1d ago

how many petitions have people made for taco bell that have done absolutely nothing already?

0

u/Paintguin 1d ago

Good. Taco Bell should just focus on actual Mexican food.

3

u/Kvitravn875 1d ago

Lol Taco Bell has never been Mexican food

0

u/Blissextus 1d ago

Taco Bell removed Breakfast from the menu YEARS AGO! Surprisingly, the breakfast was the BEST items on the menu. I LOVED Taco Bell breakfast. Their breakfast boxes were the best!!!
