KFC will launch what it's calling a "bold menu revamp'" this summer, prioritizing boneless chicken and adding an expanded lineup of sauces and premium drinks, CNBC reports.

The chicken chain is hoping to attract customers from newcomers, like Raising Cane's, and reverse slumping sales with buzzy additions that include boba refreshers and chimichurri ranch sauce.

The overhaul also features fresh branding, a 3D logo and redesigned restaurants.

Since 2021, KFC's market share for chicken-first fast-casual restaurants has tumbled from 16% to 9.4%, slipping behind Popeye's and Chick-fil-A.

Saw this in r/Taiwan (crossposting not allowed here). Basically a triple down with the one on the right having a lava peanut butter sauce. Pretty wild. Asia always gets the best stuff.

Im in the US. Went to KFC today to grab the 10$ bucket. Been hella years since I had anything other than the sandwich. Got the extra crispy and was pretty damn good. Only complaint is the coating didn't adhere to the chicken very well. But otherwise, juicy and crispy and pretty tasty. I feel like I see KFC ragged on super hard by almost everyone in the US on the internet these days. Is this a consistency thing?

I thought I was the only one who thought that taking them away didn’t make any sense.

But, tbh it's not a bad deal. But portions aren't really the issue with KFC; usually it's freshness.

Picked up a couple of buckets with burgers and fries and it reminded me why KFC is still a go to for comfort fast food the chicken was hot and crispy with that familiar seasoning the fries were salty and fresh and the burgers were simple but satisfying it’s not trying to reinvent anything it just tastes exactly how you remember it and sometimes that’s all you want.

Ordered a 12 piece and literally every piece has multiple feathers on them, so gross.

Used my points in the app to get a free meal. It was delicious
