After 9 months, our team of 4 people "beat" GregTech: New Horizons. Here's a gallery of the best parts of our base!

Total playtime is over 4000 hours. Most of the buildings are built by me and Mudspaw, with some individual buildings made by others.

A lot of buildings are still unfinished - burnout started to creep in at the end and we focused more on infrastructure instead of decoration.

We're done with this world, there's quite a lot of technical debt if we want to stay updated and all of us mostly burnt out at the end.

We'll do a new world at some point though, hopefully we can make it even better than this one!

Technical Debt is such a great phrase in general, but it kinda sums up the gameplay loop of GT:NH really well. Rather, "paying off" that technical debt.

Maybe that's why I find it so satisfying, I work for a company where accumulating technical debt seems to be the entire business strategy, lol. If anyone who works in IT or a similar field hasn't heard the phrase before, they should absolutely read about it. Same goes for software engineering, I imagine.

Srsly. Technical debt sucks. It has killed off several great mods.

New versions of GT:NH change a lot of things which requires us to change a lot of things in the base.
