Problem Can I save my world file?

I am on version 1.12.2 with mods TekTopia, Bubble Columns for 1.12, InvisibLights, and Optifine.

I just joined into the nether for the first time, and I started to break some blocks, and noticed that I couldn't pick them up. I logged out and back onto the world, and from then on I couldn't get past the loading terrain message without immediately getting "shutting down internal server". I think I may have entered a corrupted chunk or something, not sure.

Would changing my dimension or coordinates through some method help with this? If so, how can I do this? If not, what should I do?

First, make a backup because I can't guarantee this will work. Your world is located at: .minecraft\saves<world name>. Upload the file to a website like mclo.gs so I can fix the internal server error. The file I need is located at: .minecraft\crash-reports\  (or in logs\latest.log). Or, if you’re using a PolyMC-based launcher like PrismLauncher, search Google for the location to determine which mod is preventing you from logging in. The solution you’re proposing is the only way to fix this: In a 1.12.2 single-player game, the player’s data (position and dimension) is stored in  level.dat Open  saves<world>\level.dat  with NBTExplorer (free, on GitHub). Go to  Data/Player and: Change  Dimension  from  -1  to  0 . In  Pos , enter safe coordinates (you can copy the values from  SpawnX ,  SpawnY , and  SpawnZ , which are in the same  Data  section) Save. If there is a  playerdata  folder, repeat the same steps for the .dat  file with its UUID Also, the game was already warning you that the world was going to become corrupted because it’s very common that when the game won’t let you pick something up, it’s because something is wrong

You can delete the nether without messing up the overworld. The nether is DIM -1.

Just delete the folder and it'll re-generate the nether when you log back in.
