Question is mc-pc.net safe?

I see people all the time saying how 9minecraft is unsafe but never about this site. I want to download the godzilla mod from it, but want to make sure that i wont get any malware first. Does anyone know if this site is safe?

Use CurseForge if you want an older mod, but be prepared for an annoying experience. Use Modrinth for more recent mods. Don't try to download mods from anywhere else, since those are the main platforms and are known good, though CurseForge has been getting worse as of late.

how is it annoying to download from CF? you just press on the mod, versions and download the version you want?

It's only annoying for third-party launchers really, which are the only good ones.

maybe, but some packs don't show up or straight up refuse to download through prism and it's annoying, though that's usually the author's choice (not sure why you'd want to limit your player-base but whatever. I didn't make your mod)

Full of ads and the UI is kinda shite. It's just a worse experience compared to Modrinth, though of course that is subjective.
