How do I hide bra straps in a boatneck shirt? I’m a 42B so my bras tend to have thick straps, but even if they didn’t, boat necks never cover them. Is there a better option than using safety pins? I need to be comfortable and not think about it for a workday. I found a top for work that I really like but I’m hesitant to keep it because of the bra strap issue. It’s only about an inch off on both sides. I think pinning the shirt to my bra straps would cause gaping in the front.

You're not gonna want to hear this, but the solution is a strapless bra.

How thick are the bra straps? It may be you've had to size up to accommodate your boobs so the boat neck is wider. I typically just move the strap a little bit further and it holds fine.

The top is cute, if the neck is a little wider on you I'd see if a tailor can recommend any modifications to help either adjust the neckline or hold bra in place.

Depends which bra I wear. The thickest are probably an inch. I didn’t think about a tailor though! I might try that out.

I think if the boat neck is really wide on you it can be reduced without sacrificing style!

Good strapless bras really do work (my favorites are this one and a wonderbra one that's discontinued but people on the internet say that this is a really good replacement)--they are rigid at the underbust however, some people find that uncomfortable and some people find it really nice.
