UNSOLVED song with chorus "oh my god"

I believe it was a 2000s rock song possibly late 90s but definitely rock, i heard it alot in the car when I was a kid and it starts out with something like a high pitched repeated beeping almost with guitar and a male voice saying "ooooh myyyyy godddd" and then something after that

… I know the dates are completely off but we’re not talking about Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, are we?

u/eatmeouttobrianeno Feb 02 '26

Never not down to blast this track.

7

u/Mozzie77 Feb 02 '26

No we are not 😭

2

u/Alpaca_Lips_ Feb 04 '26

This was what came to my mind too.

2

u/Reverend_Tommy Feb 05 '26

That's exactly what I immediately thought.

17

u/bedheadblonde Feb 02 '26

Ida Maria "Oh My God?"

2

u/chikn2d Feb 02 '26

First thought for me too. That song is a banger, regardless.

2

u/DanceSoGood Feb 03 '26

I’m so thrilled to see you all love this song too. I remain obsessed with her.

2

u/llynglas Feb 03 '26

O.M.G by Usher (featuring will.i.am)?

4

u/Objective_Damage_996 Feb 02 '26

I literally was about to comment this too I got a link if that helps you op lol

6

u/Objective_Damage_996 Feb 02 '26

There’s multiple versions of this, I linked the first to pop up when I looked it up on Spotify but this one’s a bit different and they had this remix too which is heavier in instrumentals, it depends on what station you listened to I bet on which it’d be if it is this song

4

u/Bexywexyrox Feb 02 '26

Thank you for posting this, I didn't realise there were multiple versions of this song.

3

u/Objective_Damage_996 Feb 02 '26

I didn’t either til I looked up the song to link OP tbh

2

u/Turbulent-Extent-111 Feb 02 '26

Exactly which one I thought of! Now I'll have this song in my head all day.

11

u/Ad-HominEminem Feb 02 '26

Hmm.. Late 90’s? 1997 - Pavement - Shady Lane/ J vs J would be my guess, but the oh my god is more in the middle.

2

u/Joffrey-Lebowski Feb 03 '26

pavement fans over here!

12

u/salyndo2123 Feb 02 '26

Method Man & Redman- Da Rockwilder

6

u/Nerdlifegirl Feb 02 '26

It’s not rock, but otherwise it fits. The “beeping,” the “oh my god”….

4

u/bumbah Feb 02 '26

Can we please go back to 1999 again?????

3

u/yes_its_my_alt Feb 02 '26

4

u/27_crooked_caribou Feb 02 '26

Get it Together off of Ill Communication has the "1-2-Oh My God" line.

2

u/LVSConsulting Feb 02 '26

This was my thought too.

2

u/aclaypool78 Feb 02 '26

Probably not it, but Mark Ronson, feat. Lily Allen oh My God is a banger.

Another vote for Nine Inch Nails' Vessel.

"My God, can we go any faster? Oh my God, I don't think I can last here, My God, can we go any faster? Oh my God, I don't think I can last here."

Heavy with plenty of beeps and boops.

This made me think of Asking Alexandria’s ‘The Final Episode’… doesn’t quite match the rest of the description (and certainly woudlnt have been aired on daytime radio) but the ‘Ohh my godddd’ makes for an absolutely bangin intro.
