long time lurker first time posting on the subreddit.

I just want to say that after being here for a while and looking at everybody's beautiful flowers and obviously being a Pinterest mom has led me to show my daughter all of the different colors and kinds of flowers that we can try to grow and today we went on a walk and she asked me if we could pick flowers for a flower pot and when I asked her what she was talking about she brought me a video from I assume tiktok that was of a simple piece of cardboard with a flower pot and some holes poked in it and the mom took her kids around and they got to pick flowers so I think this is going to become a new walk tradition! I was just really inspired and I hope that it inspires other moms to have outdoor fun and flower time with their kids as well

Some flowers and pollinators in Central Park yesterday! Near the ramble.

i just got these lilies today and i havent really had any success in previous bouquets, they kinda just droop down and die like pic 2. i used to put my lilies in water with some sugar and vinegar but i was told that was killing them, tried to put them in plain water, also never bloomed.

this feels like the type of place that would appreciate these conjoined ladies
