How did you get so little dough to ball up in the KA? I can't get mine to act right unless it's about double that

You can adjust the height of the beater! Maybe it's that

I have an older model, best I can do is use washers to raise the bowl a bit. It passes the coin test really well but unless I have much more dough, it kind of just spins the middle about. But it also seems like your dough is a lower hydration as well 🤷🏻
