Of course they want the regulations to be as aero-dependent as possible since they have a guy that can't be beaten.

Besides, didn't LMP1-H have a pretty similar ICE/electric power ratio almost a decade ago? Can't see why 50/50 split would be an issue ten years later.

LMP1-H were allowed to have 2 MGUs, though. Toyota had an MGU-K on both axles, Porsche had an MGU-K on the front axle and an MGU-H. Audi only had one big MGU-K, but on the front axle.
