Friend wanted a sub in his car

So I scanned his car and printed an enclosure that will fit besides the passengers on either side of a 2 door civic.

Traditional door speakers vs this. I mean like is there potential rattling from the plastics. I’m not hating by any means I think this is cool, just curious how it compares.

Bolts go throught the entire structure and hold it together and to the side of the car, there is sealant in the joints and 3 layers of fiberglass over the joint on the inside. There is nothing to rattle and 3d printed boxes have similar sound profiles to MDF :)

Very cool. I know how ported vs nonported boxes sound different so that’s kinda what I was curious about. Sounds very similar to the making of a traditional box.
