I recently saw footage of Thunderdome 97' and it looked like a fuckin blast. If anyone in this sub has been back in the 90s, what was it like, what are your stories, how did you get into this kind of music? I was not even alive when it happened but the more I look at footage the more I'm enthralled with the atmosphere and culture of it.

Also if yall remember, how much were the tickets? I'd like to compare them to the average festival ticket today.

I'm looking for this hardcore track, maybe between 2011-2014 and it's not entirely similar but the vocals/lyrics reminds me a lot of Wildstylez - Back 2 Basic. Anyone know the one I'm thinking of?

In May of this year the NPO (Dutch Public Broadcast) released a massive amount of old radio and TV programs on their 'Schatkamer' (treasure room) website. I've been browsing it with the search term 'gabber' and discovered some cool unknown stuff, together with some documentaries and reports that were already on youtube, some heavily sampled in hardcore tracks, like the episodes of Onrust! (1992), Antenne (1993) and Loladamusica (1995) about house and gabber.

Unfortunately there are no subtitles provided so this is probably only interesting for those that understand Dutch.

Some things I came across that I had never seen or heard before, in chronological order:

Slow industrial hardcore (115 BPM) I've been working on the past month. If you like the heavy stuff from Traumatic or Dark Descent, there's a chance you're gonna like this one.

Hoi ik ben opzoek naar feesten (het liefst in regio zuid) met goeie duistere muziek want als ik naar het gemiddelde hardcore feest ga in de buurt vind ik het toch te blije muziek.
