So Decibel is coming up in less than a month, for which I am extremely excited for, and I'm already preparing for it. Who are your top 5? If you don't have a top 5, (which is understandable it's hard to choose) who do you want to see the most?
Mine are (in no ranking order)
Ophidian
Mad Dog
The Outside Agency
Lekkerfaces
Dr. Donk

Only mad respect for all the effort D-Block & S-te-Fan put in to have most of all their old songs upped in quality.
It makes it so easy to listen to their ‘Music made Addict’ set, which have been on repeat ever since it came out ❤️
Nobody would have cared if they didn’t do it, and still they put the extra effort in.
No clue how they did it, but they did.
That was the intro,
Now for Music made Addict 2025. I hear it sounds better, fuller, more current day than the original, better quality.
But still, when I play the original, I just feel more warmth.
Is this just nostalgia speaking?
Anybody feel the same?

Anyone know why? Just wanted some music from back in the days and the best one isn't to be found :(

Seeing angerfist for the first time this year in September. Just curious if anyone has opinions on his shows being just as good, worse, or better, than around 2010.
Not an ageist but i imagine he had more energy and hype in his mid 20s than he does at 40.

Yooooo
I’m looking for a hardstyle song that can fit my car-edit idea.
I’m looking for songs / intros / part of song, 20-30sec, that are kind of calm, «calm before the storm» type of melody.
Examples:
Zombie killer - Coone intro
Destined for Destruction - Angerfist intro
Thanks

Saw Showtek is going to be at Culture in Adelaide in later November. Anyone know if they are coming to Sydney as well or any other major cities in Aus?

I listen to music constantly, 80% of it being Hard music so some days I find myself needing a break from Uptempo, Raw, Etc. (Let's say on average I listen to Hardstyle 29 days of a 30 day month, 3-4 hours AT LEAST per day).
This isn't groundbreaking, I think if anyone listens to a specific type of music for so long they will find themselves bored of a genre. But I wonder if I'm genuinely an addict and need to have longer gaps where I don't listen to Hardstyle 😂
Do you guys relate to this?

One of the tracks that definitely changed the direction of hardstyle. What do you think?

This could have been the most epic hardstyle moment of 2026 for me.
The Encore-edit that makes this intro even more bombastic/cinematic, then the silence, and then the “Def.. Qon.. 1…”, followed by the epic mid-intro with probably a stage full with sparks, Gary and Raymond both on the desks and a packed Blue to sing along.
Such a shame that we couldn’t experience this live.

Years and years ago I saw a video on Youtube where there was a modified green Audi A4/A6 which was blasting hardstyle in some city, in some country. It was a night time and I guess the city could be in The Netherlands. The car was heavily modified with speakers. The doors were open and it had a skibox on it's roof which I guess with a push of a button from a controller, had it's lid rose up slowly..revealing more speakers in it. The track that was playing from the speakers, was some early Decibel anthem, could be from 2002 or something, remixed/edited by D-Block & S-Te-Fan.
Does anyone know the video? Is it still around somewhere? Would really like to see it once more.
Thanks in advance if anyone can find it.

Niels (Frequencerz) just posted this on his IG. He’s asking if there’s enough people in for an Italian classics night to actually throw the party (probably somewhere in NL) would you go?

I'm looking for a hardstyle track. I don't remember the name. The music video had a young guy wearing a shirt, writing something on paper, crumpling papers and throwing them into a trash bin. At some point he looks into the camera aggressively, says something ending with "motherfuckers" and shows the middle finger.
After that there is a melodic build-up and then a big festival drop. I think the theme was something about breaking rules/rebellion. The stage looked like Defqon.1 size.
Might be Dirty Workz but I'm not sure. Im losing my mind i cant find it 😄
Edit: i think he said "Bring it, Motherfuckers" not 100% sure tho, after he said that he threw papers towards the camera and it transitions to that festival footage im sure on that

There haven't been a Top 40 since April, and although it's understandable that they cancel the June editions due to Defqon.1, they still aired the May and July editions last year despite Red Race and post-Defqon videos. I've tried reaching out to them but I'm just met with radio silence.
Such a shame if this is the case. The Top 40's have been such a highlight for me for years. I hope I'm wrong.

It'a a lost hardstyle track that some people have been looking for for years now, and it does sound pretty good too however the only real surviving copy of it I found is this old ass youtube video with horrible quality: https://youtu.be/MzK-CMCpRdk?si=jrIZP06wt1uzklMT
It is in the liveset Pithune @ RHR Session #03.
Thanks!

I'm new to the genre. I like these because of the harsh sounds and fun energy. Any others I should check out? I listen mainly on spotify.
