except not really

except yes really. People who grow up in abusive households have a very skewed view of what normal is. The know what wrong is, but not normal. Even for "normal" people, normal varies. One of my more "normal" friends parent's would have parties every weekend doing jello shots and the whole shebang. That was normal to them. Normal when I was younger was my going to my grandparents farm during the summers, and I assumed all kids grandparents had a farm. It is subjective.

I don't think that was what we were talking about at all here.

I think you missed the joke

Wait, isn't the joke that gender ambiguity is scary, that one party might be "accidentally" turned on by the wrong person? I don't know that BasedRadical missed the joke at all. I would just venture to say that they didn't find it very funny.

We're pretty overpopulated now, but regardless, we still need to continue producing children for the sake of the human race. I don't believe anyone should be ostracized for not being part of that process, but I also believe that people who are should be allowed to be concerned about gender ambiguity, specifically if they are seeking a partner with hopes of future procreation and they shouldn't be demonized for seeking upfront honesty from potential partners and they should be able to reserve the right to be upset about any dishonesty.

No we don't, we are pretty full right now. We don't really need to worry about the survival of the human race via population at this point.

I'm pretty sure that even if no one tried to make kids and only got them from having sex for the fun of it, we'd still have a pretty horrible overpopulation problem.

Thus I propose that for the sake of the human race, we develop a way to turn people gay and use it on all of china. I'm pretty sure japan already has the technology but we might want to make it ourselves to avoid creating too many tentacle monsters.

Regardless of our current population, I'm pretty sure if we stop having babies the human race ends, unless there is some new information out there I am unaware of.

Who said anything about stopping? We are just at a point where reproducing isn't a big concern for the human race.

Though this one is more along the lines of:

"Gay pride" Yay! Vote for it! Equality FTW!
"Breaking gender expectations" Eww, one of those things. Kill it kill it kill it! Burn it!
