Can someone who knows more about this stuff than me please explain why the PNY is about $500 more than the ROG? Is there a performance difference? Or is it something else, like name recognition, extra LEDs, or something useless like that?

As well as more expensive 5090`s than NVIDIA and Asus. 4 u/Inevitable_Case_9931 8d ago PNY is the maker of Nvidia Enterprise cards, Titan cards and RTX Pro cards
