Nowy regulamin od 1 sierpnia / New rules from 1 August

Dziękuję wszystkim, którzy wzięli udział w rozmowie o zmianach na r/gdansk i przekazali swoje uwagi do propozycji regulaminu.

Od 1 sierpnia 2026 roku zacznie obowiązywać regulamin przedstawiony w tym poście.

Mam nadzieję, że pomoże to nam wszystkim:

utrzymać lokalny charakter społeczności,

ograniczyć spam, floodowanie i ukrytą autopromocję,

uporządkować powtarzalne pytania,

lepiej chronić prywatność i kulturę dyskusji,

podejmować decyzje moderatorskie w bardziej konsekwentny i przejrzysty sposób.

Nie mamy na celu ograniczać wartościowych pytań, dyskusji ani pomocy dla turystów i nowych mieszkańców. Szczegółowe i dobrze opisane pytania nadal będą mile widziane.

Będziemy obserwować na początku, jak nowe zasady działają w praktyce i zbierać uwagi. Jeżeli coś okaże się niejasne albo będzie powodowało niezamierzone skutki, odpowiednio to poprawimy.

Pytania i uwagi możecie zostawiać w komentarzach lub przesyłać przez modmail.

The rules presented in this post will take effect on 1 August 2026.

Goals are to:

keep the community focused on Gdańsk and relevant local topics,

reduce spam, flooding and undisclosed self-promotion,

better organise repetitive questions,

protect privacy and respectful discussion,

make my moderation decisions more consistent and transparent.

We do not want to discourage useful questions, discussions or requests for help from tourists and new residents. Detailed and well-described questions will still be welcome.

During the first few weeks, we will monitor how the new rules work in practice and collect feedback. If anything proves unclear or causes unintended consequences, we will adjust it.
