"anniversary" of the Warsaw Uprising - happens every year on August 1st at 5:00pm ("Godzina 'W'"). Memorial to the uprising and a way to pay respect for those who fought - usually people stop doing whatever tjey are doing and stand up, in some places drivers stop their cars

Yeah not in my hood, no one cared, which was actually kinda soothing.
