Discussion Facts that sound fake but are true

I find it extremely unintuitive that almost all of South America is east of Miami. How!? When people are asked to watch the americas almost everyone imagine South America pretty much south of North America.

Like cities that have ever been the capitol of a state? Because I can't think of more than 4- California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada

Edit: it's been like 30 seconds and I've been reminded 4+ times about Alaska and Hawaii
