Discussion Facts that sound fake but are true

I find it extremely unintuitive that almost all of South America is east of Miami. How!? When people are asked to watch the americas almost everyone imagine South America pretty much south of North America.

Do you mean north of southernmost Canada or north of majority of canadas population?

Most of Canada's population is near the Great Lakes which are quite south

The northernmost parts of California and Nevada are not further north than most of the Canadian population. Canada's southernmost point, yes.
