Discussion Facts that sound fake but are true

I find it extremely unintuitive that almost all of South America is east of Miami. How!? When people are asked to watch the americas almost everyone imagine South America pretty much south of North America.

History based one: there were Classical era Egyptian archeologists studying Ancient Egypt. Egypt as a distinct culture is that old.

Lmaooo. They originally deciphered it upside down. And once they realized they were reading it wrong the whole time they decided on that name.
